Adah attended Bunyan Grade School in Fox Creek for 8 years. She then attended Balsam Lake High School her freshman and sophomore years then transferred to Milltown High School for her junior and senior years. After graduation she went to Minneapolis and worked at Sears Roebuck and then at the New Brighton Arsenal.
She married Dennis H. Christensen on January 12, 1952. Adah was a stay at home mom raising her six boys. She did mending to help ends meet. She always enjoyed working outside doing, gardening, flowers, mowing, raking leafs and shoveling snow.
After he sons were raised she worked at the United Pioneer Home in Luck for 8 1/2 years. In 2012 she moved to Tomah, WI. She was active in the Mather Assembly of God Church. She helped care for the oldest member Jeanette who was 96. She volunteered at the V.A. Hospital in Tomah for 2 years in the hospice unit where she would read, sing, visit and hold the hands of the patients.
She managed the Sunny View apartments in Milltown from 2000 - 2006. Adah returned to Luck in 2017 and at that time she started volunteering at the United Pioneer Home.
Adah made many blankets in her life to give to the Missionary people overseas. She also sold blankets, toss pillows and wall hangings.
Adah was in good health until the Lord called her home to be with Him. She gave her heart to Jesus in 1973 and became a new person in Jesus her Lord.
