Alice was born July 11, 1906 in Grand Rapids, MI to Lammert and Annechien (Vriezema) Koenes. She was educated in Michigan and Montana schools. Alice married Albert Seaman on September 20, 1926 in Lansing, IL. He died January 17, 1974. She later married Dewey Heun on November 6, 1981 in Erie, IL. He died July 15, 1987. She was a homemaker and a self employed seamstress. She has lived in Grand Rapids, MI; Conrad, MT; Rapelgy, MT; Lansing, IL; Port Wing, WI; Cable, WI; and Fulton, IL. She was a member of the Newton Zion Reformed Church in rural Erie, IL.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Alma Johnson of Morrison; two sons, Burton J. (Rita) Seaman and Garry R. (Judy) Seaman both of Morrison; one stepdaughter, Dorothy (Mrs. Merrill) Bailey of Davenport, IA; three stepsons, Marvin (Delores) Heun, Wilbert (Mildred) Heun and Alvin (Phyllis) Heun all of Fulton, IL; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; seven step grandchildren; fifteen step great grandchildren; seven step great great grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Agnes Rozema of Grand Rapids, MI.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Albert Seaman and Dewey Heun; a son, Cecil Albert Seaman; three sisters, Johanna Koenes in infancy, Johanna Boomsma, and Henrietta Hoekstra; two brothers, John Koenes and Jake Vriezema.
