Born in Bayonne, NJ, Audrey grew up in Bayonne and Roselle, NJ, later raising her children in Scotch Plains, Watchung, and Long Beach Twp., NJ. Audrey was a resident of Cape Coral, FL. She was a graduate of Girls Catholic High School in Roselle, after which she earned an Associate of Arts degree at Union College. Audrey was an active member of both Ocean City Baptist Church in Ocean City, NJ and Grace Baptist Church in Cape Coral, FL. She also was a frequent participant at Woodside Chapel in Fanwood, NJ.
Audrey's beauty was not merely skin deep, her inward beauty excelled that which was visible. Her heart was her family, particularly her 14 "PG's," precious grandchildren. They were near the top of her many passions some of which included Bible study, Scripture memorization, and photography. She also loved gardening, exercising, and volunteering to fill the various needs in which she was interested most of her adult life.
She loved and was loved; she will be missed; and those that love her rejoice in her Homegoing.
Audrey was preceded in death by her father and mother, Cyril St. John and Doris McGrath, as well as a brother, Jeffery St. John McGrath.
Friends may call Sunday afternoon, April 11th from two until four o'clock and and Monday, April 12th from twelve noon until 1:30 pm with her Funeral Service to follow at 2 o'clock at Ocean City Baptist Church, 603 10th Street, Ocean City, NJ. The memorial service will be livestreamed at https://www.facebook.com/ocbaptist
