Daniel Joseph Clement of Chackbay, LA, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023, surrounded by his loving family and his dog Lucky.
He was born on June 22, 1934, to the late Agnes Chiasson Clement and Herman Clement.
He was a nature lover who enjoyed hunting and fishing along with spending time at his camp in the woods.
A visitation will be held in his honor on Friday, August 25, 2023, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church - Chackbay, LA, from 9:00 am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. The burial will follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery, Chackbay, LA.
He leaves to cherish his memory, sisters, Clarabelle Adams, Dianne Benoit, Merline Molaison (Clifton); step daughters, Dolores Gravois, Merline Brazan (Ronald Millet) and many nieces, nephews, step nieces and nephews, and step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Octavia Trosclair Clement; parents, Agnes Chaisson and Herman Clement; brother, Roy Clement (Harriet); brother-in-law, Tommy Adams; stepson-in-laws, Edwin Gravois and Fred Brazan; stepsons, Mervin Clement (Rosalie), Norman Clement (Mary) and brother-in-law Edward Benoit.
