He is survived by his children: Audrey Barnes (Seth) Mellen of Atlanta and David Jon Barnes of Riverdale; grandchildren: Seth Mellen IV, Graham (Caitlin) Mellen, and John Mellen; great grandchildren: Charles Mellen, Daniel Mellen, Elizabeth Mellen, and Meredith Mellen; first cousin: Judith Ann Coffee and several extended family members. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Crest Lawn Memorial Park in Atlanta. The family will receive friends from 7-8 PM, Friday, August 25, 2023 at the funeral home.
