Mary Jeanette Jennings, 92, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 17, 2023.
Jeanette graduated from Central High School in 1949. She was a faithful member of Woodland Park Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her first husband of 28 years, Bill Anderson, and her second husband of 37 years, Bill Jennings, her parents, Ruben C. and Pearl Shields, her brother, Ruben W. Shields, her grandson, Jonathan Littell, and her best friend, Dorthy Randles.

She is survived by her daughters, Teresa (David) Littell and Kim (Art) Pendergrass, sons David (Sheri) Jennings and Danny (Kathy) Jennings, eleven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and daughters of the heart, Regina Randles Collis, Mitzi Randles Bush, and Torii Randles Donham.

Special thanks to Delores Douglas, her caregiver and Hospice of Chattanooga.

A Celebration of Jeanette's Life will be held in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Wednesday, Aug. 23, at 1 p,m.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service beginning at 11 a.m. She will be laid to rest with her first husband in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
