Bobby Jerome Cook, was born on July 5, 1980, in Rusk, Texas to Trudy Cook and Daniel Brown. At an early age, he was blessed and gained a special mother, Danna Session- Martin. He was a loving father to his only child, Alyssa Cook. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Carl B. Cook; two aunts, one uncle, and a cousin. He departed this life on June 29, 2023. He accepted Christ, as his personal Lord and Savior, at an early age and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

Bobby Jerome, better known to family and friends as Bob, was a warm, kind, and loving person. He had the world's biggest heart and would give his last to help others. If ever anyone needed help, Bob was there to lend a hand. He enjoyed spending time and creating special memories with his grandmother, spending time with other family and friends, and "Wild Out Wednesdays". Bob never met a stranger, he only made friends – one of his favorite pastimes was "scoring" on folks.

He attended Rusk High School, graduating with the class of 1999. He was employed with several local companies including, Rusk State Hospital, Fat Dogs, CUDD (Kilgore), and Sunday's Metal Buildings.

He is survived by his mothers, Trudy Cook and Danna Session-Martin; father, Daniel Brown; maternal grandmother, Ms. Ozell Cook; daughter, Alyssa Cook; three brothers, Mickey Cook of Tyler, Texas, Kevin Cook of Rusk, Texas, and Isaiah Brown of LaMarque, Texas; four sisters, Demetria Cook of Louisiana, Latoya Cook of Palestine, Texas, Gwendolyn Black of Jacksonville, Texas, and Monique Brown of Wyoming; he was the guide parent to Justice Johnson, Jay Johnson, Jontae Johnson, and Jaeton Johnson; he was the God brother to Tangie Hart of Rusk, Texas, Delnesia Session of Bullard, Texas, April Johnson of Rusk, Texas, Marcus Lawson of Ft. Stewart, GA., Wayne Lawson and Chris Lawson of Jacksonville, Texas; and a host of other relatives and
friends.
