Ernest Douglas "Doug" Bryant, 73, of Madisonville, KY passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. He was born on March 21, 1950, in Madisonville, KY, to the late Mary Francis Skillion Bryant.
He enjoyed woodworking and fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-three years, Mary Bryant of Madisonville; daughters, Diane Dueck and Amy (Mike) Irwin, both of Madisonville; sons, Tim (Rose) Bryant and Phillip (Crystal) Bryant, both of Madisonville; brothers, Nate (Gayle) Bryant and Ronnie Bryant, both of Madisonville; sisters, Vickie (Buddy) Givens of Madisonville and Frieda (R.V.) Mitchell of Earlington, KY; grandsons, Jordan Bryant and Isaac Irwin; granddaughters, Abbi Irwin, Natalie Irwin, Bailey Bryant, and Jersey Bryant; step-grandchildren, Amberlynn Daugherty and Gunnyr Daugherty, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, August 20, 2023, with Steve Meredith officiating. Burial to follow at Browder Cemetery in Anton, KY. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour on Sunday at the funeral home.
