Arnie lived a life filled with love, laughter, and endless wisdom. He was a pillar of strength and a beacon of light for all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His warm smile, kind heart and boundless generosity touched the lives of many and left an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to cross his path.
Growing up with two sisters, Vivian, and Wilma, he was dedicated to his family and their farm. Arnie moved to Norfolk in 1948 where he worked in the restaurant and retail industries. In 1954, he was drafted to serve in the Korean War; he completed basic training at Camp Carson, Colorado and was stationed in Germany. Upon his honorable discharge on December 20th, 1955, he returned to Nebraska where he met and married the love of his life, Donna Mae Eucker, on October 21, 1956.
The young couple moved to Colorado where they established roots and raised five children: Laurie, Lynette, Brian, Brenda, and Wendy. Arnie was a jack of all trades and a craftsman; he enjoyed cooking, gardening, taking the family camping and touring Colorado. Camping trips were more than just adventures; they were treasured moments spent connecting with nature, family, and friends. Arnie took pride in sharing his love of the outdoors and respect of the land.
Arnie's legacy extends through his three sons-in-law, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Later in life, Arnie and Donna made Florida their home for nearly a decade. They welcomed friends and family with open arms, embodying the spirit of hospitality. Trips to the beach and Disney World became joyful family traditions that will forever be etched in our hearts. In 2013 he and Donna returned to Colorado to be close to family.
Arnie will be greatly missed for his sense of humor, generosity, and kindness.
Arnie is survived by his wife, Donna; his children, Laurie Frank, Lynette (Paul) Gottler, Brian Frank, Brenda (Rex) Kohart, and Wendy (Mark) Hawkins; his grandchildren, Janelle Clark, Kristal (Kevin) Morales, Travis Clark, Krista (Jay) Constantino, Francesca Gottler, Nicholas Kohart, Megan (Justin) Walters, Matt Hawkins, and Jett Hawkins; his great grandchildren Kadence DuPont, Jasmine Morales, Chase Morales, and Grace Gutierrez. He has numerous nieces and nephews. His death is proceeded by his parents Louis and Julia (Novak) Frank, and sisters Vivian Meyers and Wilma Richter.
