He was preceded in death by two brothers, George W. Minor, Jr. and Arnold Minor. He is survived by a sister, Faye Elliott and husband, Bob, of Durham and several nieces and nephews. He had three special friends that he loved very much, John Whitt, Curt Whitt and Lynn Gullie. The family would like to thank his special caretaker, Nellie Bullock for everything she has done for Donnie over the years.
Mr. Minor was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late George Wright Minor, Sr. and Luna Green Minor. He retired after 46 years from Golden Belt Manufacturing, as an inspector in the print department. Mr. Minor formerly attended Gospel Center, Grove Park Chapel and Northgate Chapel. He loved to watch youth football and baseball.
