Thomas Alva Batchelder was born on April 21, 1932 at Garden City, Kansas, the son of Guy R. and Pauline A. (Brock) Batchelder. He had worked as a Cathodic Engineer working for the Northern Natural Gas Pipelines Company until he retired.
Thomas Alva Batchelder is survived by one son, Larry Batchelder and his wife Cindy of Dewey; one daughter, Terry Ryan of Bella Vista, Arkansas; two brothers, Wilbur Batchelder of Garden City, Kansas and Milo Batchelder of California; two sisters, Lottie Gill and Betty Woods, both of California; five grandchildren, Steve Winn and his wife Julie of Spokane, Washington, Jeromy Batchelder of Dewey, Oklahoma, Jennifer Holiday and her husband Billy of Manitou Springs, Colorado, Kelly Ryan of Barnsdall, and Jessie Batchelder of Dewey; and two great-granddaughters.
