Survived by: Passed away peacefully in his home on March 12, 2008 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Pat Bauer; children, Bob (Debbi) Bauer, Michael (Traci) Bauer, Michelle (Perry) Marchincin and Shawn Bauer; grandchildren, Alex, Kevin, Nicole, Samantha, Shane, Daniel and Michael; sister, Mary Ann (Gerald) DeGroot; mother-in-law, Helen Dettman; brothers and sisters-in-law, Holly, John (Eleanor), Mary, Nancy, Robert (Patty) Dettman; many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

City of birth: Rochester, NY

History: Fred was a devoted father and grandfather whose love of laughter will be remembered by all who knew him. He was retired from Frontier Corp. in Rochester.

Donations: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fred's Memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY 14620 or the Visiting Nurse Service Hospice, 2180 Empire Blvd., Webster, NY 14580.
