Majors was born at Cross Timbers, MO., May 8, 1897 the son of William Henry and Sarah E. Majors. He was preceded in death by two wives, Rosa Ventris and Stella Keller. He was married to Artie LaRue, March 8, 1942, who survives.
He had made his home in Stillwater since about 1900 and was a retired cook.
Survivors include: three sons and five daughters: Tom Majors, 211 Hughes; Leo Majors, 1210 S. Lewis, Clifford Majors, Pawnee; Mrs. Mabel Phelps, 308 Lowry; Mrs. Flossie Clayton, Tulsa; Mrs. Wilma June Truit, Houston; Mrs. Marie Griffith, Tulsa, and Mrs. Virgie Moore, 303 Benjamin; a step-son, Jack Miller, Douglas, Kan.; 38 grand-children, five great grandchildren; two brothers; Jess and Bill Majors, Stillwater, and two sisters, Mrs. Laura and Mrs. Eva Higgis, Stillwater.
Pallbearers are Clarence Maxwell, Veryl Porter, Fred Phelps, Loal Thompson, Roy Dean and Jess Lunsford
