He was married before marrying my grandmother, Grace Lee Peardon, and had 2 daughters, Monda and Evelyn and a son, Cranston Corneliss Caruthers, who died long before I was born (he was @ 33 years old). Charles then married my grandmother and they had 3 daughters, Gloria Dean, Charlotte (Pat) Lee & Ima Jean. My mom (Pat) and Jean are still living at this time, in Marion county Florida.
Charlie and Grace lived in many places, Miamia, and various cities in California before coming to Marion county Florida. He is buried in Ft McCoy cemetery- as my aunt Jean still lives in that area and he really liked it.
