George Washington McClure died at Drumwright, Oklahoma, with his daughters, Mrs. Ray Dudley, Mrs. Rallie Reynolds and Lucy McClure on June 25th where he had been for the past six weeks under medical attention of Dr. J.A. Gregoire, but was brought home to Harrison, Ark., and was laid to rest in the Summers Cemetery June 29th.

He was born in Nashville, Tennessee, October 27th, 1876 and came to Arkansas in 1879 where he was married to Martha Ann Pirtie August 28th, 1895.

He was long a member of the Christian Church and was loved and honored by all who knew him.

He leaves to survived him, a wife, seven daughters, three sons, living and one who preceeded him in death, two grandchildren, six brothers and four sisters.

May God bless and guide his loved ones that are left to mourn his loss.
