Margaret Beams, 89, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, passed away Friday, April 4, 2008.
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Monday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Greenwood Funeral Home.
Margaret was born Nov. 5, 1918, in Roane. One of the greatest loves of her life was her family. She met her husband, Edmund, while attending college and was happily married for 67 years. She was a longtime member of Cana Baptist Church.
Margaret will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund, and sisters, Lois and Elizabeth.
Survivors: Children, Ronald Beams and wife, Carrol, Robert Beams and wife, Lynda, and Barbara Clements and husband, Alan; nine grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
