Thomas Allen Roiter

Age 80, of Tawas City, Michigan, passed away on August 11, 2023, in Saginaw, Michigan. Tom was born on June 9, 1943, to the late Johnathan and Theresa Roiter. Tom has been primarily a lifelong resident of Tawas City, Michigan, and he was a proud graduate from Tawas Area High School. Following school, Tom enlisted into the United States Army and spent a few years serving our country proudly. He worked as an electronics repairman and also at the US National Gypsum plant in Tawas City, Michigan, until he eventually retired in 1979.

Tom met and married the love of his life, Barbara Roiter. The two were married on July 23, 1967, and spent the next 56 years together happily married. Tom was a member of the VFW Post #3724, the American Legion, and was a former Boy Scout Leader as a part of Troop #974. Some of Tom's hobbies consisted of playing the guitar, woodworking, electronics, playing in his former band called the "Silverstone's", and spending quality time with his family.

Tom is survived by his wife, Barbara Roiter; children, Mark Roiter, Victoria Abbott, and Regina Musso; brother, Dan (Pam) Roiter; grandchildren, Jonathon Neumann, Theresa Abbott, Violet, Hunter Roiter, Wesley Roiter, Miranda Roiter, Matthew Musso, and Amanda Musso. In addition to his parents, Tom is preceded in death by his sister, Connie VanAuken; and his brother, Gene Roiter.
