Born in Lebanon to the late Paul and Margaret Mazur Gaidos, he was a World War 2 Marine veteran. He was retired from Raymark Asbestos Co., Manheim. In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, John M. Gaidos, Jr., of Annville; Thomas P. Gaidos, of Harrisburg; and Stephen K. Gaidos, of Lebanon; and daughters; Pauline, wife of William Killion, of Winthrop Illinois; Barbara A., wife of Thomas Care, of Lebanon; and Lena, wife of Charles Carroll, of Philadelphia; nine grandchildren; a sister, Mary Lawrence, of North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. Interment at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
