We celebrate the life and memory of Sarah Ingram Fuller who made her transition peacefully, Sunday, November 18, 2007 at Oak Summit Nursing Home in Winston-Salem, NC. Born in the Friendship area of Guilford County,September 20, 1928, to Mr. John Champion and Mrs. Mary Neal Ingram. She attended Collin Grove Summerfield, Woody Side, and Florence Schools. In 1947, she graduated from William Penn High School in High Point, NC. Sarah also attended Guilford Technical Community College where she completed the Nursing Assistant Program. She was employed by High Point Regional Hospital where she remained until she retired.
Sarah's life was rich and full! She joined Turners Chapel A.M.E. Church in 1937. She loved going to church and believed in being always on time. Sarah played the piano for Sunday School from 1955 to 1991 and was the church's pianist and organist from 1957 to 1995. She was faithful to volunteer as an organist for Sunday night Services at various churches. Sarah expressed her love for the Lord by sponsoring programs to raise money for choir robes and hymn books. She was a gifted writer as evidenced by her 2002 publication entitled "The Broken Out-John and the Missed Train"published in the Guilford County Tales, Hometown Memory Publishing Company, Hickory, NC.

On November 5, 1949, she married her high school Sweetheart, the Reverend William A. Fuller and they shared over 55 loving years together before he went home to be with the Lord. Out of this union, was born one son, David Nolan Fuller.

In addition to her son and daughter-in-law, Sharisse Cole Fuller, of High Point, NC, she leaves to cherish her memory two grandchildren, Shawnee Fuller Lucas (Maurice) Atlanta, Ga. and Matthew DaShay Fuller of High Point, NC. Sarah is also survived by four sisters, Ruth Hedrick, Lois Harris (Johnny) Alice Griffin (Ernie) Barbara Raleigh (James) and one brother Jacob Ingram, all reside in Greensboro, NC., one sister-in-law, Ida Fuller, of High Point, NC and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family finds great comfort in knowing that our beloved mother, sister and grandmother is in the presence of the Lord. It would be unbearable if we thought we would never see her again, but we have God's promise that the trumpet of God will sound and the dead in Christ will rise first and those that are alive and remain will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 22, 2007 at Turner's Chapel AME church Burial will follow at Turner's Chapel AME Church Cemetery.
