FUNERAL OF MR. MOWBRAY BULLER • The remains of this esteemed young gentleman were consigned to their last resting place today, at Crediton. The body was laid in a new family vault constructed by Mr. William Berry, builder, of Crediton. The funeral was private, but there were many friends of the family present, among whom were Sir John Duckworth, Mr. W. F. Philpots, Mr. R. B. Philpots, Mr. A. Fox-Strangways, Mr. C. Strangways, and Mr C. Helderden. The hearse was an open one and was followed by General Sir Redvers Buller and Lady Buller, Mr. Ernest Buller and Miss Buller, Mr. Tremayne Buller and Miss E. Buller, brothers and sisters of the deceased. The deceased was thirty-six years of age, and was the fifth son of the late James Wentworth Buller, Esq., of Downes, and had been engaged in the coffee trade at Ceylon. | The Devon Evening Express, 13 Apr 1887
