He was born February 28, 1924 to Shirley and Nobie Lee (Brady) Davis in Commerce, Texas.
He moved to Roosevelt as a child then moved to Norfolk, Virginia where he worked with civil service for many years. He moved to Hobart in 1999.
He married Audrey, and she preceded him in death.
He served in the US Army during World War II.
Suurvivors include one sister Shirley Reynolds and husband Eddie, Ardmore, Oklahoma; and one brother Jackie Dean Davis, Dumas, Texas.
Graveside services were April 7, 2008 in the Roosevelt Cemetery, Roosevelt, Oklahoma, with Rev. Kyle Clark officiating. Services were under direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home, Hobart, Oklahoma.
