CLINTON E. LEIGHTNER, 90, died at 6:05 p.m. September 9, 2004, at Hilty Memorial Home, Pandora, Ohio. He was born March 25, 1914, in Putnam County, Ohio to Edward J. and Lucinda Hirschy Leightner, who preceded him in death. Mr. Leightner retired in 1980 from Ford Motor Co. Lima Engine Plant. He was a member of the Pandora Missionary Church, where he was a Sunday school superintendent and held several offices. He was a 60-year member of Gideon's International. He helped plant a missionary church in Humboldt, Tennessee, and Holton Avenue Missionary Church, Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was a 1931 graduate of Pandora High School. Memorial contributions may be made to Pandora Missionary Church or Gideon's International. He is survived by his wife, 4 children, and numerous relatives.
