Woodrow W. "Woodie" Eberly, husband of Sarah M. Kerr Eberly, 125 S. 11th St., Lebanon, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 1983, in Lebanon Valley General Hospital after a short illness. He was 71.
Born in W. Lebanon Township, he was a son of the late Wallace and Sally Blouch Eberly.
He retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp.'s Conwall Mines and was a member of Tabor United Church of Christ. He was an Army Air Corps veteran who served in the Pacific during World War II and for many years he coached Little League Baseball for the Speedwell Fire Co. in West Lebanon.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Rose Marie, wife of Leroy Kiefer Jr., Lebanon; and Ann Marie Eberly, Lebanon; granddaughters Sarah and Suellen Kiefer; a brother, Charles T. Eberly Lebanon; and sisters Christine, wife of Richard Snyder, Fredericksburg; and Thelma, wife of Ray Bright, Palmyra.
