Born at Brookston, he operated a Covington drug store for 35 years. He was married to Myrtle Auten in 1910 and was a member of the Methodist church here and Title Lodge No. 36, Knights of Pythias, of Covington.
Surviving with the widow are two daughters, Mrs. Harold J. Risk, West Lafayette, and Mrs. Mary Ellen Watson, Crawfordsville; a brother, Lowell, of Ladoga, and two sisters, Mrs. Verinda Thomas and Mrs. Ida Jewell, both of Brookston. The body will be sent to Covington.
