RUBY LENORA ANDERSON ADAMS
FAIRHOPE -- Ruby Lenora Anderson Adams, 83, died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2001. The Fairhope resident was a member of the First Baptist Church there. She is survived by four sons, Nolan A. Mims of Semmes, John F. Adams of Bainbridge Island, Wash., James M. Adams of Seattle, and Thomas E. Adams of Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; a daughter, Mary Charles Renfroe of Pensacola; a brother, Howard Anderson of Prattville; a sister, Eleanor Willis of Prattville; and 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Fairhope Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Mims and Dr. Jerry Henry will officiate and burial follows in Colony Cemetery in Fairhope. Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to cancer research or a favorite charity. Arrangements are by Fairhope Funeral Home in Fairhope.
