"Cindy" as most people knew her, was born June 8, 1961 in High Point, a daughter of Dorothy Watts Stafford and the late Ray Charles Stafford. She was also preceded in death by brothers Steven Charles Stafford and Clarence David Stafford. Following graduation from T. Wingate Andrews High School in 1979, she attended North Carolina Central University, Durham, and Guilford Technical Community College, Jamestown. She was employed as a realtor at Realty Executives, and recently, accepted the position as registrar for Carolina Beauty College, both of Greensboro.
Survivors include two daughters, Whitney Danielle Reynolds and Constance Rae Reynolds; one son, Leland Stafford Reynolds, all of the home; the children's father, William Dan Reynolds of Jamestown; her mother, Dorothy Watts Stafford of High Point; two sisters, Sandra S. Carpenter of Greensboro, Ray Ann Johnson of Newark, DE; three aunts, Elizabeth Ashworth, Ruby Covington, both of High Point, and Ruth Parker-Diggs of Washington, DC; special friends, Kathy Hardin, Adrienne Turner, and Rory "Iya" Chavis; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2008 at Memorial United Methodist Church, 1327 Cedrow Dr., with the Rev. Jessie C. Keaton, officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Memorial Park.
