A memorial service for Ryan Aaron Andrews will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Red Wing, with the Rev. Thomas Kommers officiating. Private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Andrews, 16, of Red Wing, died Wednesday (April 2, 2008) at his home.

He was born on Nov. 5, 1991, in Red Wing. He was a sophomore at Red Wing High School, where he particularly enjoyed shop, wood shop and small engine classes. Having been involved with Scouting since age 6, he was currently working on his Eagle Scout level with Boy Scout Troop No. 32. He was working part time for Hanisch Bakery in Red Wing. He enjoyed anything with wheels and being with his friends.

Survivors include his parents, Ronald and Sharon of Red Wing; a brother, Alan of Red Wing; and his grandmothers, Joy of Rochester and Lola Dodge of Red Wing; He was preceded in death by two grandfathers.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mahn Family Funeral Home Bodelson-Mahn Chapel in Red Wing.
