DEEPSTEP-Services for Eolyn Marie Veal Smith, 86, will be held Sunday, April 6, 2008 at 2 p.m. in Deepstep Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Eolyne Marie Veal Smith, lovingly known as "Ma Rudder", crossed over the river into the promised land and into the waiting arms of Jesus on April 3, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her parents T. Jeff, Sr. And Eugenia N. Veal, and her husband of 55 years, Albert L. Smith.
Pall bearers will be "Ma Rudders" Boys: Emmitt Hall, Cecil Corbett, Mike Corbett, Tommy Peeler, Jeff Veal and Edward Miller, Jr.
She is survived by son, Dale Smith; son, Gerald L. Smith and wife Lisa and their daughter Brittney; son, Dean Smith and wife Jan and their sons Zach and Ethan; and daughter, Denise Sternisha and husband Terry.
