The former Melody Strebig was born January 8, 1952 in Phillips to Edmore and Lorraine (Leischer) Strebig. They lived in Chelsea until 1959 when they moved to Rib Lake. She attended Clearview Elementary School and Rib Lake Junior High School. Her family moved to Lake Forst Ill. when she was 13. She graduated from Lake Forest High School in 1070. She began working for the United States Postal Service in 1974 at Winnetka, Ill.
Her marriage to Larry Reinwald, who survives, took place January 10, 1981 in Waukegan Ill. They moved to Brokaw in 1990, where she became Postmaster. They moved to Rothschild in 1993.
She enjoyed the outdoors, riding snowmobiles, ATV's and horses.
In addition to her husband, survivors include her mother or Rib Lake, three sisters, Dianne Tlusty of Waukegan, Kathy of Baldwin and Sue (Paul) Hohl, both of Rib Lake, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1983 and two brothers Les Bowns and Terry Stregib.
