She was married to Elza Huntsman April 7, 1890 and they began housekeeping in Green Twp, but after a few years moved to Noble Twp. Seventeen years ago they moved on the farm south of Burr Oak where they lived at the time of her death.
They had five children, Mrs. Flossie Fern Edsall, Mrs. Burnis Laree Mawhorter, Mrs. Beulah E. Hile, Verlin Bernell Huntsman and Miss Ruby Waneta Huntsman, all of near Burr Oak, Ruby still at home. She is also survived by three grandchildren; four brothers and one sister, Harvey of Burr Oak, Albert of Merriam, Curtis of Green Twp, John of Jefferson Twp and Mrs. Harley Haney of near Merriam.
She united with Burr Oak Baptist Church May 18, 1894, where funeral was held Sept. 1. Burial, Christian Chapel Cemetery.
