Annice Marie Barnhart, age 87, passed away in Graham on Friday, August 4, 2023. Funeral will be held at 9:30 am on Friday, August 11, 2023 at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Murray Cemetery.
Annice was born on July 6, 1936 in Graham, Texas to John Richard and Florence Emma (Moreland) Reedy. She was a lifetime resident of Young County and a beloved and cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was loved by many. She married R.D. Barnhart on October 8, 1954. Annice loved her role as homemaker and staying home to raise her three daughters. She was a member of the Eliasville Baptist Church where she played piano for many years.
Annice is survived by her husband of 68 years, R.D. Barnhart of Graham; daughters, Donna Havins of Weatherford, Cindy Adair and husband Bill of Graham, and Brenda Barnhart and Drake Stephens of Graham; brother, Leon Reedy of Decatur; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
