David Hergenrider, 61, retired Belfry farmer, died Monday in a Billings, MT, hospital. He was born Jan. 8, 1907 in Unterwalden, Russia, coming to the U.S. and Chicago in 1912.
Mr. Hergenrider farmed near Lovell, Wyo., in 1913 and at Belfry in 1916. He married Lydia Ochs in Belfry, Jan. 27, 1929. Mr. Hergenrider retired from farming in 1962.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Survivors include the widow; three sons, Harold, Helena; Donald, Billings, and Kenneth, Boulder; four brothers, Alex, Alfred, Rudy, and John, all of Belfry; four sisters, Mrs. Andy Krum, Anaconda; Mrs. William Lehman, Bridger; Mrs. Lydia Sch1echt, Billings, and Mrs. Emanuael Kraft, Absarokee, and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Bridger, with the Rev.Louis Elvers officiating. Burial will be in Belfry Cemetery. Olcott Funeral Home, Red Lodge, is in charge. Billings, Montana · Wednesday, December 04, 1968
