REV. J. EVERETT METTEE
The funeral of Rev. J. Everett Mettee, who died on Thursday evening at Glyndon, took place yesterday afternoon from his late residence, 401 North Schroeder street. Rev. F. G. Porter, of Harford Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church; Rev. P. Milburn, of Bethany, and Rev. C. W. Baldwin, presiding elder of West Baltimore district, officiated. The pallbearers were Revs. R. G. Koontz, B. W. Meeks and S. W. Graflin, and Messrs. R. L. Reamey, S. W. Jones and A. Hoffragge. Interment was in Greenmount Cemetery. George W. Little was funeral director.

CAME HOME TO DIE
Rev. J. Everett Mettee Falls A Victim To Tuberculosis
Rev. J. Everett Mettee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norris I. Mettee, Schroeder and Mulberry streets, died of tuberculosis yesterday at the home of Rev. Harry D. Mitchell, Glyndon. A year ago Rev. Mr. Mettee married Miss Anna Cawmen, of Asbury Park, N. J., and left Maryland for Truman, Minn., to take charge of a congregation there.
The climate disagreed with him and he was removed to Park Rapids, in the northern part of the State. Still his health grew rapidly worse, and last July he was told that he had consumption. A month ago he came here with his young wife, practically to die.
Rev. Mr. Mettee had filled charges at Magnolia, N. J., Elkridge, Leonardtown and Taylorsville, Md. He was educated at the Methodist Episcopal Seminary at Pennington, N. J.
