He retired from the Department of Transportation in Bridge City, LA as a District Administrative Assistant.
Clarence is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mary Eve Simoneaux Jones; daughter, Dana Jones Miller and husband, Ross Miller of Metairie, LA; son, Clarence Jones, III and wife Denise Jones of Springfield, LA; daughter, Debbie Fabino and husband, Mark of Abbieville; son, Morris C. Fabino and wife, Linda of Bridge City, LA; 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews; sisters, Edna Jones Whitaker, Joanne Jones Davis, Betty Jones Loupe and Diane Jones Robertson; brother, Bobby Jones.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Ellis Jones, Sr. and Eva Mae Deckwa Jones; first wife, Donnell Mary Hahn Jones; sons, Phillip Fabino and Wilford Fabino; brothers, Charles Edward Jones and Leroy Jones, Sr.; sisters, Shirley Jones Eagen and Annabel Jones Warner; grandson, Timmy Reese; and great granddaughter, Harper Michelle Jones.
Visitation will be held at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, LA on Saturday, September 26, 2020, from 8:30AM until 10:30AM. Funeral Mass will follow at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church at 11:00AM.
A special thank you to his nurse Todd Calmes and Ms. Ann Taylor of Interim Hospice for taking great care of Clarence. Also, I would like to thank all the family and friends for your support and prayers during this difficult time.
