Legacy.com obituary:

Rosalie (Skelton) Ripley was born in Rusk County, Texas to Clifford and Agnes Skelton on January 20,1941 and passed away at home surrounded by family members on August 24, 2019. She was 78 years old. Rosalie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eddie Ripley, parents Clifford Skelton and Agnes (Worsham) Skelton, and her sister Edwina Skelton.

Rosalie attended school in Pecos, Texas where her love for music flourished. She was a member of the marching band where she played the clarinet and bells. She also sang for a local dance band and hosted a teen radio program on Saturday mornings.

On March 28, 1959 Rosalie married the love of her life Eddie Paul Ripley. They raised two daughters, Deborah and Sherry and were overjoyed when they later had four granddaughters, Candice, Shelby, Shayna and Caytlin. There was never a shortage of love in their home.

Rosalie and Eddie shared a deep love for Jehovah God as Jehovah's Witnesses and traveled the world together. They loved to travel and explore new places such as Thailand, the Mediterranean, Italy, Ukraine and throughout many other locations in Europe. She was privileged to see many places mentioned in the Bible.

Rosalie enjoyed sharing her love of Jehovah with others. Whenever she was in the hospital or the physical rehabilitation center, she was eager to share her faith with others up until the last few weeks before her death. You could see the joy in her face when she excitedly recounted her experiences sharing Bible truths.

Rosalie had a love for nature and flowers. She enjoyed gardening, collecting seashells and making beautiful shell mirrors, rocks, minerals, and gemstones. She was extremely talented at singing, playing the piano and accordion. Rosalie loved her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Rosalie had the hope of being resurrected to life in an earthly Paradise and longed for the time when she would have her health restored. A Paradise in which she would see her husband Eddie and all of her loved ones again. We all look forward to that future earthly resurrection made possible by the loving sacrifice of Jehovah's Son, Jesus Christ. We await the time when we will welcome her back to life, when she will no longer be sick or in pain (John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 21:1-4).
