Eloy Barajas, 72, a resident of Barstow and a previous resident of Bosque, N.M., passed away Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006. He worked as a forklift operator at the Marine Corps Logistic Base. He was a mechanic and loved to work with wood. He went to high school in Belen, N.M., and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Survivors include his sons, Eloy Barajas Jr. and his fiance, Rose, of Las Vegas, Nev., Ramon Barajas Sr. and his wife, Baby, of Kansas City, Mo., and Michael Barajas and his wife, Debbie, of Barstow; daughters, Erlinda Rosenfeld and her husband, Elijhah, of Lawndale, and Hazel Barajas of Barstow; brothers Jose Barajas, Salo Cordova, and Gilbert Cordova of New Mexico; sisters, Vicki Romero, Nila Romero, Maria Bachicha, Kathy Baca, and Cecilia Cordova of New Mexico; 18 grandchildren; 11 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
