Annie T. Barajas, 68, a resident of Barstow for 50 years, passed away Monday, July 12, 2004 at St. Mary Medical Center in Apple Valley. She was born July 26, 1935 in Belen, N.M. She was a pre-school teacher in Barstow. Prior to that, she was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church for 50 years and also loved crochet, crafts, and reading. She graduated from Barstow College with an AA degree in 1973. Survivors include her husband Eloy Barajas Sr., of Barstow; sons, Eloy Barajas Jr., of Palmdale, Ramon Barajas Sr., and his wife Baudelia of Kansas City, Mo., and Michael Barajas and his wife Debbie of Barstow; daughters, Erlinda Rosenfeld and her husband Elijah of Lawndale, Diana Banuelos of Tecate, Mexico, and Hazel Barajas of Barstow, daughter-in-law, Leonila Marcelino of Rosamond; sisters, Monica Melton and her husband Joe B. of Barstow and Betty Rodriguez and her husband Ray of Barstow; 18 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation will be Sunday, July, 18, 2004 from 4 to 6 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 505 E. Mt. View. Rosary will follow at 6 p.m. also at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, July 19, 2004 at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be at Mountain View Memorial Park, 37067 Irwin Road.
