OBITUARY The death occurred at her home this morning of Mrs Amy Prime, wife of Mr George Prime of Masterton. She had been in indifferent health for some time past.
The late Mrs Prime was the only daughter of the late Mr and Mrs John Edwards, of Melbourne and was born at Melbourne 58 years ago. After her arrival in New Zealand 21 years ago she lived for a time at Rangataua, Main Trunk Line. Later with her husband they moved to Wellington where they resided for nine years, ultimately coming to Masterton, where they became the proprietors of the well known private hotel, the Prince of Wales.
The late Mrs Prime was of a quiet disposition but had made many friends during her residence in Masterton who will regret to learn of her death. She is survived by her husband who will have the sympathy of a wide circle of friends in his sad bereavement.
The funeral will take place to-day and will leave Mr G. Hyde's Chapel, Church Street, at 3 p.m. for the Masterton Cemetery.

At the funeral of the late Mrs A. Prime, which took place in Masterton, many beautiful wreaths were received, bearing witness to the respect and esteem in which she was held and the sympathy felt for her bereaved relatives. The burial service was conducted by the Rev E. J. Rich and the pall-bearers were friends of the late Mrs Prime and her family
