Effie's parents were: Silas Marion and Lydia Alice Beckham. She married Tulsa (Orvil B.) Bradshaw on November 25, 1919 in Rogers, Oklahoma. They lived with his mother for the first couple of years of marriage. But sadly, in October of 1922 a car wreck from "joy-riders" hit Effie's car and as the result, her baby died on the 9th of October and she died on the 10th. Tulsa moved around quite a bit after that, remarried but the second marriage didn't last long, and he died in 1929 in Idaho.
