Larry was born in Stella, Nebraska on April 18, 1941 to Donna & Lloyd Bright Sr.. He was adopted by his aunt and uncle, Esther (68800649) & George (129712118) Ludwig and raised in Shubert, Nebraska. However, George died when Larry was only 13 years old. Esther was his birth mother's sister. Following graduation from Shubert High School, he worked as a finance manager for an implement dealer in Falls City, NE. He then worked in real estate development in Omaha, Dallas, and Los Angeles. He was married to Sherry Slagle on July 3, 1960. Larry and Sherry had two daughters, Pamela and Teresa. He married Carol Jensen in 2015; and moved to Columbia, Missouri in 2017.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Sherry; brother Lloyd Bright Jr.; and sisters Eileen Bressler, Ann Lincoln, Phyllis Koda, Betty Lou McConnell, Patty Kirkendall, and Mary Jane Robertson. He is survived by his wife Carol Ludwig, daughters Pamela (Leon) Kunze and Teresa Willett; and four grandchildren.
