James Robert Peebles, age 89 and Carolyn Troutt Peebles, age 84, of Holladay, TN, passed away on August 3, 2023, at their residence.
Mr. Peebles was born on April 4, 1934, in Benton County, TN, to the late Weis Peebles and the late Opal Hicks Peebles.
He was also preceded by his stepmother, Margaret Peebles; sons, Jeffrey Peebles and Timothy James Peebles; daughter, Robbie Peebles; brothers, David Peebles, Donald Peebles, Robert Peebles, Edward Peebles, Adrian Peebles and a sister Brenda Pulliam.
Mr.Peebles loved motorcycles, fishing and hunting.
He was Baptist in faith and loved his wife and family dearly.

She was also preceded in death by her stepfather, Charles Chickerello; daughter, Edith Troutt Martin and a brother, Vincent Bigeck.
Mrs. Peebles was retired from H.I.S. and Carhartt. She was also a homemaker and Baptist in faith.
