He married Mary E Maloney in Rains county 2 Oct 1989. They had son Ross Brimer in Rains county and moved to Angelina county by 1900 their daughter Sallie Brimer was born in Angelina county Dec 1900. He left his children with the Maloney's to raise and returned to Rains county with his sister-in-law, Nora Watkins Brimer and his brother Walt's four children. Walt died in 1907. His niece, Lue Brimer, had children in Angelina county and they returned to Rains county by 1930. A B Brimer thought he was born in Alabama. See the 1880 census for Rains county for family history.
