Local Notes.
— Judge Richard D. Austin, an ancient and much respected citizen of Monroe county, and father of the excellent Mrs. Spencer, wife of Rev. B. H. Spencer of this city, died at his residence on the 4th inst, and is gathered to his father's. Judge Austin was a good citizen, a kind neighbor, a true friend, a brave man, and leaves behind him the good name of a kind husband, an intelligent father and an honest and trusty officer in the public positions assigned him, by the sufferages of his follower.
