Michael Stedman Kerr age 59 of Lynchburg died Friday, July 8, 2016 at the Bethesda North Hospital in Montgomery.
He was born June 15, 1957 in Beaumont, TX the son of Wayne James and Helen Stedman Kerr.
Mr. Kerr was a truck driver and served in the Merchant Marine's.
He is survived by his mother, Helen Kerr Fox of Beaumont, TX, one brother, Dr. Scott (Shelly) Kerr of Port Arthur, TX, one sister, Karen Kerr Voorhies of Centerville, VA, extended family and friends, Jeannie (Charles) Balon, Pauline Gilliland, Rita Hertlein, Cassandra Wolf and Family, Christina Barker, AJ, Madison, Samantha Crawford Family and Bill "Wilkie" Wilkin of Lynchburg, special daughter, Becky Jo Barker and granddaughter, Belaha Jean of Lynchburg, he was "Pappy" to Glenn Allen of Lynchburg and was known as "Daddy Mike' to many others.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne James Kerr and one brother, James Patrick Kerr.
Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 16th at the Old School House Park in Lynchburg. Jill Pendleton-Collins will be the celebrant.
