Wesley R. Wade was born October 2, 1947 in Columbus Ohio to Oliver and Gwynethel Wade. Wesley was a self-employed electrical contractor with Wade Electric for thirty years. Wesley married Bettie Wade October 18, 1968, and remained together for forty years. He departed this life Saturday, March 29, 2008. He is preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Gwynethel Wade. He is survived by wife, Bettie Wade; sons, Kevin and Kendra Wade; sister, Gwen (James) White; brothers, Ronald Wade, Frank Wade, Morris Wade, Wayman (Brenda) Wade; special aunt, Helen Burkes; grandchildren; goddaughter; Jamerah; and a host of relatives and friends. Home going Services are Friday, April 4, 2008, at 1 p.m. at SMITH MORTUARY CHAPEL. Visitation hours will be held at 12Noon until the time of service. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
