Gregory Lind Adams, 71, of New Martinsville, WV passed away December 31, 2022, while at Select Specialty Hospital, Wheeling, WV.

Lind was born April 18, 1951, in Wheeling, WV son of the late Jack and Jean (Hostuttler) Adams.

Former Sheriff and Magistrate for Wetzel County, Lind was retired at the time of his death. Never a man to sit still, he worked many jobs from Dallison Lumber Co., overseas as a security contractor, and with the Operators Union 132 as a heavy equipment operator. He was a graduate of Valley High School and WV Northern Community College with an Associate's Degree. Lind was also a member of The National Turkey Federation, Masonic Lodge, New Martinsville Moose Lodge, Sistersville Elks Lodge, and The Northern Mountaineer Bass Club.

Surviving is his wife of 20 years, Tatiana and 4 daughters: Stacy (Matt) Pyles, Julie Adams Wetzel, Marci Adams, and Anastasia Filatova, all of New Martinsville, WV. Lind had 11 grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings, Terry (Lynn) Adams, Scott Adams, and Shari Adams Letterman, all of Pine Grove, WV.
