Elinor E. Beaty, 75, of Lewistown, also a resident of Country Manor Sheltered Care Home in Pekin, died at 2:55 PM, Sunday, October 21, 1984, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria where she had been a patient for two weeks.
She was born Sept 16, 1909, in Waterford Township, the daughter of John F and Mary Eva (Mann) Heffren. She married Raymond C Beaty on March 11, 1957, in Springfield. He died September 29, 1980.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Hranka of Pekin; two stepsons, Raymond C Beaty, Jr, of New York, NY and Gene Allen Beaty of Detroit, MI; 10 grandchildren; four step grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers, Paul Heffren and John Heffren, both of Lewistown; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret Davis of Bushnell and Mrs. Maralee Bowman of Joliet; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Services will be Wednesday at Henry Memorial Home, the Rev. Robert O'Connor officiating. Burial will be at Waterford Cemetery.
