Anida Lee England, 89, of Pikesville, MD, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Stella Maris in Timonium, MD. She was born on January 20, 1934, in Baltimore, MD, she was raised in a loving household by her late father Daniel Holden III and late mothers Blanche Holden (Holland) and Wilso Holden (Dove).

Anida was a lifetime resident of Pikesville, MD. She was a longtime member of St. Charles Church. She was also a life member of the Box 234 Association, the fire and police service unit; while not a founding member, she did type up the original charter. In 2018, she was inducted into the Baltimore County Volunteer Firefighters Assoc. Hall of Fame for 6+ decades of dedicated service. Anida was an accountant for the State of Maryland and in her career, she worked on the early budget for Maryland Public Television. She also worked on the Maryland Relay telecommunications system as well as general services budgeting.

Anida was predeceased by her husband: William England, Sr., daughter: Danelle England-Dansicker, and brothers-in-law: John Taylor and Thomas Wright.

Surviving her is son: William "Bill" England, Jr., son-in-law: Samuel Dansicker, grandchildren: Gabrielle Williams (Dansicker), Alexandra Rankin (Dansicker) and husband Aaron, great- grandchildren: Logan Williams and Olivia Rankin, siblings: Rosella Taylor, Carol Wright, and Richard Holden and wife Randee.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, August 4, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, August 5, at 11 am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 101 Church Lane, Pikesville, MD 21208.

Interment to follow in Druid Ridge Cemetery, Pikesville, MD.
