Actor, Comedian, Game Show Host, Writer, and Producer. His character Pee-wee Herman delighted generations of children and adults. Reubens began his career in the 1970s after joining the Los Angeles live comedy troupe the Groundlings as an improvisational comedian and stage actor. In 1982, Reubens began appearing in a show about a character he had been developing for years called "The Pee-Wee Herman Show." Between 1986 and 1990, Reubens starred as Pee-Wee in the CBS Saturday morning children's program "Pee-Wee's Playhouse." He starred in the films "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure" (1985), directed by Tim Burton, and its a sequel, "Big Top Pee-Wee" (1988) and Pee-Wee's third movie on Netflix "Pee-Wee's Big Holiday" (2016). He made cameos and appearances in various movie and television projects, including "Reno 911!" (2006), "The Blacklist" (2014–2015), and "Accidental Love" (2015). He also played the voice role of Pavel in the Disney XD television series "Tron: Uprising" (2012–2013). Paul privately fought cancer for six years before his death.
