The funeral of Asa D. BRANSCOM was held here the 17th under the supervision of the A.O.U.W., No. 303. Rev. MILLER, of Perry, preached the funeral sermon in the M.E. church after which the body was place in the Grantville cemetery. Asa was a good steady young man like by all. He was a charter member of the A.O.U.W. lodge here, but at his death was member of the Ozawkie lodge. He leaves a wife and four little children to mourn his death.
